“Indeed the history of the Institution from its beginning until now has proved it to be a tree of the Lord’s own planting. According to His word of sure promise, He has kept it and watered it, so that it has grown to goodly proportions, and brought forth fruit to His name.”–Recorder, June 1905
Since the beginning of our College in 1894, one repeating motif within Tyndale’s narrative seems to be geographic change. Reasons for relocating from one building to the next vary. Whether the move is due to growth, ending leases, new mergers or new opportunities, few would have guessed that God’s planting, keeping and watering would look more like an Exodus experience rather than a stationary garden. With a particular focus on geographic places, we reflect back to see where our faithful God has led us on our own journey of Acts 1:8.

“One thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and stretching forward to the things which are before. I press on…” (Phil 3:13). The Apostle Paul’s principle of progress in spiritual life is also the principle of progress in spiritual work. Our new building provides for us a challenge to look forward, and to make ourselves ready for, and to be worthy to enter upon the larger opportunities of the Kingdom of God. Indeed, by God’s grace we have grown to goodly proportions. May Jesus continue to bring forth fruit to His Name.
